As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support daily operations in a busy logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with access procedures and directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with site staff and local authorities when appropriate to address access control and security-related matters.
