As an Allied Universal Security Professional focused on access control at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
Assist with traffic control within the logistics and distribution environment as needed.
Support site operations by maintaining awareness of surroundings and providing a visible Allied Universal presence.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor.
