As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol distribution and logistics locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity through attentive observation and reporting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to observe and report any irregularities.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual circumstances, and maintenance needs as observed during patrols or access control duties.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel while maintaining a positive Allied Universal presence on site.
Support site operations by adhering to all location-specific instructions and collaborating with on-site personnel as needed.
