As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at logistics and distribution locations, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit within the facility.
Verify credentials and identification for all individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support operations at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all access control activities and incidents encountered during the shift.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.
