Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Wyoming, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. You will remain highly visible throughout your shift, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property.
