As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
  • Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to questions or concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and report any irregularities.
  • Document and report observations, incidents, and activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following instructions from Allied Universal and client leadership.
