As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while managing entry points. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles entering the premises.
Assist in carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance and reporting as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Provide customer service to all individuals at the location, answering questions and assisting as appropriate while maintaining security-related protocols.
Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or equipment malfunctions, according to site procedures.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and instructions from Allied Universal or site management.
