About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Lebanon, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Manage access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
Monitor and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the site.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to maintain a secure environment.
