As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Document activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address security-related matters.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations to help to deter prohibited behaviors within the logistics and distribution environment.
