As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Mountville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Monitor and control access to the distribution and logistics location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting staff, visitors, and authorized personnel with access-related matters.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control, reporting any suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents.
Document all access control activities, incidents, and observations in daily logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with site staff and first responders.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
