About The Position

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Collierville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and client site requirements.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address security-related matters.
Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations to help to deter prohibited behaviors within the logistics and distribution environment.
