As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide a visible presence to support a secure environment. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, vendors, and employees with inquiries related to access control and security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support security-related operations.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for logistics and distribution operations.
