As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct regular patrols within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help maintain authorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, responding to inquiries, and explaining site-specific policies as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and protocols.
Document and report observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and/or drills, supporting emergency response activities as appropriate.
Follow all location-specific procedures related to access control, deliveries, and visitor management within a logistics and distribution environment.
