Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby Patrol Full-Time in Alpharetta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Data Centers, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations at financial institution locations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity within the financial institution location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities during each shift.
