As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and guide employees, contractors, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing deliveries to the appropriate receiving areas.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, report unusual activity, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting details, and supporting first responders per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including production spaces, warehouses, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
