About The Position

As a Security Officer - Lobby Desk Monitor CRE in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting tenants while monitoring access and helping to deter security-related incidents. You will use your communication and customer service skills to support a welcoming environment, while also utilizing technology to help manage entry points. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and/or credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and/or provide assistance as needed.
