Job Description As a Security Officer - Lobby Desk Monitor CRE in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting with security-related inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming presence. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and tenants in a professional manner at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to front desk operations and security-related matters.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
  • Communicate with property management, Allied Universal personnel, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity, incidents, and other front desk operations.
  • Provide customer service by answering inquiries and directing individuals as appropriate within the location.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols.
