As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the welcoming face of Allied Universal, helping to monitor access, observe activity, and support security-related procedures. Requirements

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and front desk support at a commercial property location.
  • Monitor lobby activity, greet arriving guests, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to direct people to the appropriate destination in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
  • Answer phones, manage inquiries, and help to support day-to-day front desk operations while following Allied Universal standards and client-specific expectations.
