As a Front Desk Officer at a residential location, you will greet residents and guests, manage access control, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and package logs while monitoring cameras and alarms for security-related concerns. You will communicate clearly, respond to requests, and help to deter issues through a visible, professional presence. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Operate the front desk by greeting arrivals, verifying identification when required, issuing visitor instructions, and directing individuals to the appropriate location within the residential property.
  • Monitor cameras, alarms, intercoms, and/or other building systems from the front desk, report irregular activity, and communicate concerns to management and/or emergency responders as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and completing reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
  • Coordinate with property staff and/or service providers by managing keys, packages, and delivery logs as assigned, while maintaining clear, professional communication.
