As a Front Desk Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for tenants and visitors, supporting a welcoming lobby experience while handling access control, badge processing, and visitor logs. You will monitor cameras and alarms, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with onsite teams. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements and Allied Universal post orders.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV and/or other building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Control building entry by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining sign-in logs and directing guests to designated areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Complete shift reports and required documentation, communicate status updates during post transitions and support property management with routine administrative tasks related to access and incident reporting.
