About The Position

Securitas is hiring for the 2026 Sports Illustrated Stadium Event Security season. Securitas is looking to hire Event Level 2 Security Officers to work Part time between February, 2026 to December 2026. Do you have experience in law enforcement or the military? If so, you may be a great fit for this role. The ideal candidate will provide exemplary customer service, while serving as a physical deterrent at major sporting events, including all Major League Soccer games at Red Bull Arena. As a Senior Security Officer Level 2, this individual is responsible for greeting the guests, searching bags, the use of magnetometers, access control including field and locker room security. Help to maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations, as well as answering general questions regarding the event Senior Security Officer Level 2 Part time / $35.70 an hour. This position is strictly for current or retired Law Enforcement or Military personnel. The ideal candidate will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives.

Requirements

• Must be an active or retired Law Enforcement Officer or have a Corrections/Military background
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and climb or descend stairs, occasional running or sprinting
• Ability to work in outside elements, including hot, cold, and wet weather
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when responding to emergency or stressful situations
• Have a HS diploma or GED
• Have a verifiable work history
• Have a reliable means of transportation
• Able to successfully complete a background and drug screen
• Able to meet state licensing requirements
• Must possess or acquire a valid NJ State Security SORA license

• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers

Responsibilities

• Responsible for crowd management issues during events
• Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents
• Prepares logs and reports as required
