About The Position

As a Security Officer at AdventHealth Lenexa City Center, you will be part of a faith-based health care organization dedicated to extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. Your role will involve overseeing security tasks, responding to alarms, and maintaining communication with supervisors and fellow officers. You will document incidents and ensure a safe environment for patients, families, and staff. This position is part-time, focusing on evening shifts, and is located at the new AdventHealth Lenexa City Center, which is set to open in 2025.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• BLS through American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all security related tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Acknowledge and respond to alarms, determining the source and providing proper assistance.
• Maintain appropriate communication with Supervisors, fellow Security Officers, and Security Operations Center.
• Document all crimes, incidents, and safety-related irregularities per department policy and procedure.
• Exhibit good judgment during critical situations and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Assess situations considering the age of individuals involved and gather information pertaining to incidents.
