As a Security Officer - Incident Response Patrol in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to reports and/or alarms, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering strong customer service. You will bring reliability, agility, and integrity to a team that puts people first.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
• Have 2+ years' law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing directions, coordinating with site personnel, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, check identification and/or credentials as required, manage visitor entry processes, and help to maintain orderly flow of foot and vehicle traffic.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
