As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Requirements

• Experience with access control systems and/or badge processes is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in technology, media, or telecom environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and/or unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report activities and/or incidents to appropriate personnel, following established protocols.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors within the location, offering assistance as needed.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions that may require intervention and/or reporting.
