Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, addressing the needs of personnel and visitors within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as directed by site procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals on site, including employees, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols related to manufacturing and industrial operations, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
