About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Site - Access Control in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Professional specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and managing badge access. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry and exit at the location, in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Complete reports and documentation of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors to promote a secure environment.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures when needed.
