Security Officer - Industrial Perimeter Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Industrial Perimeter Patrol in Macedonia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors to address inquiries and provide assistance.
- Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or other site-specific protocols, as required by the location.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related matters and maintain a secure environment for all personnel.
