About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related operations at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial site, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and relay important information regarding security-related matters.
Follow all protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to support the security-related mission at the location.
