Job Description As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Shift in Maumee, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. This role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing outstanding customer service. As this is a driving post, a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial location.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
- Remain alert to potential hazards or issues within the environment and report findings promptly.
