Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
Support access control by observing entrances and exits and assisting with visitor and employee verification as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to maintain a secure environment and address any security-related needs specific to the location.
