About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Full-Time in Clayton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and interact professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with customer service is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
Observe for and report irregularities such as security-related breaches, unauthorized persons, and/or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the property and help to deter unauthorized entry.
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues within the facility.
