Requirements

A valid EMT certification is required.
Previous firefighting experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the facility as directed by site policies.
Complete required documentation and reports regarding security-related incidents and daily activities.
