About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver in Peebles, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible and approachable. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and interact with personnel and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, support a caring culture, and work as part of a reliable and innovative team that always acts with integrity.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious or unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the facility.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and/or local authorities as required.
Complete detailed written reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities as directed by site requirements.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as needed.
