About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol Driver Required in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
• Support access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document incidents and/or irregularities according to established procedures.
