About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Facility in Monroe, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access control points and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, interact with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This position requires driving responsibilities. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and adherence to site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and the client’s site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with site personnel and emergency services as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential security-related risks and promote a secure environment.
