About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Monitor in Rincon, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Provide customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the premises, responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Document and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents observed during shifts.
Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with site management and Allied Universal personnel as needed.
