As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and employees, provide outstanding customer service, and use computer or tablet technology as part of your daily responsibilities. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related issues specific to a manufacturing and industrial environment.
