About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Desk in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as appropriate.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with questions about access procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Document and report any incidents, access violations, or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts as required.
Support emergency response activities at the location by following site-specific procedures and coordinating with Allied Universal management and emergency responders as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment for employees and visitors.
