About The Position

As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions, while following site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents in accordance with company and client requirements.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at assigned access control points to help to deter unwanted behavior and promote a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
