Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Drivers’ License
  • Hands on only CPR Certification
  • The following certifications are required prior to employment or obtained within the first 6 months of employment: MOAB Training Patient Restraint and Seclusion Handcuffs Pepper Spray and JPX

Responsibilities

  • Keep our hospital safe and welcoming with regular security rounds.
  • Patrol buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Be a visible, professional presence while monitoring visitors and guiding anyone who shouldn’t be on campus.
  • Respond quickly to safety concerns and document incidents clearly.
  • Monitor and manage security systems like cameras, alarms, access controls, and patient safety devices.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports to ensure a secure environment every day.
