Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• BLS through American Heart Association preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform security services through interaction with the public, patients, and employees.
• Provide security at specific locations and respond to security issues.
• Provide access assistance as requested and report suspicious circumstances and emergencies.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Ensure the safety of the public, patients, employees, and property of AdventHealth.
• Acknowledge and respond to alarms, determine the source of alarm, and provide proper assistance.
• Maintain appropriate communication with Supervisors, fellow Security Officers, and Security Operations Center.
• Document all crimes, incidents, and safety-related irregularities per department policy and procedure.
• Exhibit good judgment during critical situations and maintain a professional and authoritative demeanor.
• Assess situations with consideration for the age of individuals involved and gather information pertaining to incidents.
