As a Security Officer - Unarmed Vehicle Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations using a computer and/or tablet while working with a team that values integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture. Allied Universal is agile, reliable, and innovative in supporting every shift.

Requirements

  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have a guard card and/or license, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.
  • Have CPR certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, corridors, gates, baggage areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas by checking credentials, verifying authorization, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with posted requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or local first responders as directed.
  • Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
