Job Description As a Security Officer - Hotel Lobby Patrol in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter disruptions and report any unusual behavior or conditions.
  • Assist guests and staff with directions, information, and support as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs according to site procedures.
  • Collaborate with hotel and resort staff to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and visitors.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
