As a Security Officer - Hotel Perimeter Patrol in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment.
Report and document security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols.
Collaborate with hotel and/or resort staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns or emergencies.
Provide visible presence and assistance to guests and staff, helping to foster a secure atmosphere within the location.
