As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a distinguished hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the hotel property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal standards and client expectations.
  • Support hotel staff and guests by addressing questions or concerns related to security-related matters in a courteous manner.
  • Assist with crowd control and/or guest movement during events or emergencies, following established guidelines.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
