As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with guests and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and other duties as assigned to support a secure environment for all occupants and guests.
