As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible to guests and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to situations as they arise, and communicate clearly with team members. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences as per company and site guidelines.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including evacuations and/or providing directions to guests and staff.
Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to help to maintain a secure environment at the location.
