As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy downtown hospitality location, you will walk interior and exterior routes, stay highly visible, and help to identify and report security-related concerns. You will greet guests and staff, assist with directions and requests, and communicate clearly with onsite teams while documenting activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a hospitality location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and/or medical or fire-related alarms per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual activity, and communicate with site management and/or local first responders as needed.
  • Complete required reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation, and report maintenance or operational concerns through the proper channels.
