As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

Vaccines are required for hospital positions.
Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare environment in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and to assist with visitor management as needed.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities during emergencies and/or drills, following established protocols.
Assist with access control, visitor screening, and other security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal and site supervision.
