Requirements

Must comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in hospital morgue environments.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to assist with restraining individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual occurrences according to site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
